The Department of Infectious Disease supports the continuing education of our faculty, residents, students, staff and guests with the presentation of educational lectures.  The purpose is to present educational programs that address practice problems or provide updates on new developments in best practices.  Lectures are an essential component of nursing education, teaching new information and enhancing clinical reasoning skills.

In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
