The CHAD unit supports the continuing education of our faculty, residents, students, staff and guests with the lectures, presentations, hands on skills, simulations, training and/or in-services. The purpose is to present clinical topics, procedures, care of patients with different disease processes/ updates with new and innovative developments, research and technology and to address other related issues based off of needs assessments. Lectures, in-services, presentations and /or simulations are an essential component of nursing education, teaching new information and enhancing critical thinking and skills.

Accreditation Statement
In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
