CHAD unit supports the continuing education of our faculty, residents, students, staff, and guests through lectures, presentations, hands-on skills, simulations, training, and in-services. The purpose is to present clinical topics, procedures, and care of patients with different disease processes/ updates with new and innovative developments, research, and technology and to address other related issues based on needs assessments. Lectures, in-services, presentations, and simulations are essential to nursing education, teaching new information and enhancing critical thinking and skills.

 

Accreditation Statement
In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
