Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Incorporate spectral Doppler in their evaluation of liver abnormalities including portal hypertension
2. Use color and spectral Doppler to evaluate renal parenchymal disease and diagnose or exclude renal artery stenosis
3. Examine a patient with suspected intestinal ischemia using color and spectral Doppler, rather than using ionizing radiation and contrast agents (CTA)
