Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1.  Describe the epidemiology of HCV in the US and locally.
2.  Describe the clinical manifestations and natural history of HCV.
3.  Recognize who to screen for HCV.
4.  Discuss the role of the primary care provider in HCV management.
5.  Review current HCV treatment guidelines .
6.  Discuss HCV treatment and prevention strategies in the primary care setting.
7.  Recognize must have HCV resources.
8.  Case discussions to tie it all together.
