Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe the foundational knowledge on basic definitions of palliate and hospice care in practice.
  2. Discuss the improved ability to care for end of life patients and navigate the end of life care model.     
  3. Discuss the collaborative/multidisciplinary roles and processes in inpatient hospice care and palliative care.
  4. Describe a current challenge and strategy in healthcare regarding the end of life population.
