Objectives

1. Identify basic statistic terms utilized in superiority trials
2. Define each basic statistic term
3. Calculate and apply relative risk reduction and number need to treat
4. State considerations for the active control, noninferiority margin and analysis population used in noniferiority trials
5. Based on example studies, determine if the results show inferiority, noninferiority, or superiority
