Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1.  Recognize the nature of error and how healthcare providers can work interprofessionally to learn from errors and  improve patient safety
2. Identify which actions can be taken to improve patient safety.
3. Describe why there should be greater emphasis on patient safety.
