Objectives

1. Review the concept of de-adaptation and how hypocalcemia and hyponatremia differ
2. Discuss the frequency and treatment of denosumab associated hypocalcemia
3. Discuss idiogenic osmoles: what we know in animals and humans

4. Review treatment of hyponatremia and a look at the guidelines and unusual treatment strategies

5. Describe the roles of the members of the health care team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
