The Department of Surgery supports the continuing education of our faculty, residents, students, staff and guests with the presentation of educational lectures.  The purpose is to present educational programs that address practice problems or provide updates on new developments in best practices.  QI and Risk Management lectures are an essential component of nursing education, teaching new information and enhancing clinical reasoning skills.
