  1. Distinguish the differences between outpatient and hospital services E/M guidelines
  2. Understanding hospital services billing require all 3 components (history, exam, MDM)
  3. When billing by time, services must be dominated by counseling/coordination of care
  4. Critical Care requirements
  5. Review split/shared guidelines and discussion on new charge capturing process
  6. Review billing process for transferred patients
