Baystate Health Office of Continuing Interprofessional Education is part of the Healthcare Education Office, a cohesive team providing education across a continuum of learning—from student to graduate student to professional.
Baystate Continuing Interprofessional Education (BCIPE) is dedicated to offering professional development for those responsible for the health and well-being of our patients and the community. We provide access to educational activities that maintain or enhance skills, competence, performance, and inspiration.
We are a Jointly Accredited Provider committed to delivering continuing education—planned by the healthcare team, for the healthcare team.
Our unified application process and a single set of accreditation standards provide credits to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and physician assistants. This helps to improve interprofessional collaborative practice in health care delivery.
Our mission is to provide learning opportunities that promote the delivery of optimal health care for all persons responsible for the health and well-being of patients and the community.
In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
