Daryl Mucci, RN, BSN, CCRN
Daryl Mucci is a critical care nurse with over 38 years of experience and a member of Rapid Response Team for eight years. She has been an ICU preceptor, participated in several research projects including: ICU delirium for NTI presentation, early mobility in critical care, , and family communication. For over 20 years Daryl has taught ERHS (Emergency Response in the Hospital) course, a core component of the Nurse Residency Program focused on early recognition of patient decompensation, and emergency response excellence. She co-developed and implemented mock code education and the training video "The First Two Minutes". Most recently, she has led the development and facilitation of high-fidelity, multi-disciplinary code blue simulations across her institution resulting in measurable system-level safety improvements. She has guest lectured on rapid response initiatives to AACN Horizons, the Western Mass Annual Cardiology Conference, and the nurse residency program at Baystate Medical Center.
