Birthplace Annual Competency Day is a course designed to meet the annual education and training needs of the registered nurses at the Birthplace.  The training will also include an interdisciplinary mock code simulation where RN's, Obstetricians and Certified Nurse Midwives will work together as a team to implement hands on care of the high risk OB patient.

In support of improving patient care, Baystate Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
