Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Define pediatric age definitions across the first 18 years of life
2|Define common terms used in the day-to-day treatment of pediatric patients
3|Recognize inappropriate medications for pediatric patients compared to medications that have a specific risk-mitigation strategy
4|Identify differences in pharmacokinetics between adult and pediatric patients (i.e. ADME)
