Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Strengthen knowledge and skillset in managing the complexity of multi-system healthcare concerns of the critically ill child 
2| System based education and staff empowerment will assure all PICU teammates are assessing similar interventions and utilizing best practice to assure optimal patient outcome
3|Guide nursing assessment and intervention to align with best practice, strengthen overall teamwork and continuity of care, and empower the bedside nurse to collaborate cohesively with various members of the healthcare team to decrease adverse events to the patient
