Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Recognize causes of early fetal growth restriction and identify recommendations for testing.

2. Understand maternal risk factors for cystic hygroma.

3. Examine the links between cystic hygroma, fetal cardiac anomalies such as ventricular septal defects, and fetal hand deformities.

4. Describe the pathogenesis of PPHN.

5. Recognize the clinical signs and symptoms of PPHN. 

6. Discuss diagnosis of PPHN.

7. Classify types of PPHN based on severity and understand management of each.

8. Introduce and describe VIGOR study.
