Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Identify major types of AI-enabled tools currently integrated into inpatient EHRs and clinical workflows (e.g., decision support, ambient documentation, automation tools).
2| Recognize key ways AI adoption is changing roles, responsibilities, and competency expectations for physicians, pharmacists, and other inpatient team members.
3| Determine essential considerations for precepting residents and students in AI-enabled clinical environments, including expectations for safe use, documentation, and critical appraisal of AI outputs.
