Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Recognize early signs of respiratory decompensation.
2|Recognize early signs of cardiac decompensation.
3|Demonstrate and build confidence in activating the code blue and RRT response teams for situations in the hospital.
4|Summarize their role during. code blue and rapid response scenarios.
5|Discuss and prioritize interventions for patients with respiratory and/or cardiac decompensation.
