Objectives

3|Discuss safety, risk stratification, transfer logistics, and implications of home birth

4|Summarize neonatal outcomes associated with planned home birth

5|Identify maternal and intrapartum risk factors that impact neonatal outcomes

6|Recognize early signs of neonatal compromise following home birth

7|Discuss strategies to improve safety and coordination during planned home births

8|Recognize the indications for therapeutic hypothermia

9|Discuss the process of therapeutic cooling

10|Discuss the outcomes of therapeutic cooling in neonates
