Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Demonstrate appropriate anesthetic work up for a kidney transplant recipient with attention to perioperative risk identification and mitigation.
2|Evaluate intraoperative considerations and risk management strategies relevant to the presented kidney transplant case.
3|Explore the postoperative course of the kidney transplant patients, including monitoring and prevention of common complications.
