Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Recall basic testicular anatomy and embryologic development and its relationship to testicular pathologies.

2|Develop appropriate differential diagnosis for scrotal abnormalities in the newborn.

3|Discuss the diagnosis and management of testicular torsion.

4|Examine prognosis of testicular torsion.
