Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Identify the basic technique of a diagnostic cerebral angiogram. List risks and benefits of undergoing a cerebral angiogram or interventional study.
2| Identify patients that would qualify for acute endovascular stroke treatment based on the expanded eligibility criteria. List common techniques of endovascular stroke treatment.
3| Analyze carotid plaque characteristics and determine whether the patient would be a good candidate for carotid artery stenting. recognize when to offer middle meningeal artery embolization as a treatment option for management of subdural hemorrhage.
