Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Recognize clinical signs and indications that warrant evaluation for posterior urethral valves.

  2. Identify complications of untreated posterior urethral valves.

  3. Differentiate less common causes of bladder obstruction in children.
