Objectives

2| Review stepwise treatment algorithms for the management of dyslipidemia based on patient-specific cardiovascular risk.

3| Compare mechanisms of action, efficacy, and clinical roles of available lipid-lowering therapies.

4| Apply guideline-directed treatment strategies to optimize pharmacologic management of dyslipidemia in clinical practice.
