Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Recognize the classic clinical phases of subacute (de Quervain) thyroiditis.
2|Differentiate subacute thyroiditis from other causes of thyrotoxicosis using laboratory and imaging modalities (e.g., ESR, RAIU).
3|Implement evidence-based management strategies, including the appropriate use of NSAIDs and corticosteroids.
