Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Recognize methods to determine antimicrobial efficacy within in vitro studies
2|Analyze patient-specific, microbiological lab-reported data and formulate a patient-centered treatment plan given this data
3|Compare studies involving Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolates
4|Identify empiric agents with activity against Stenotrophomonas maltophilia
5|Create an evidence-based treatment regimen for a patient with Stenotrophomonas maltophilia pneumonia
