Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Review the basic pharmacology use of sugammadex, rocuronium, and vecuronium, their therapeutic uses, mechanisms of action, and potential risks to patient associated with each agent.
2|Explain pharmacology interactions and patient safety considerations when using rocuronium and vecuronium in combination.
3|Discuss storage of recuronium and differences in temperature, and analyze the implications of improper storage on drug efficacy and patient safety.
4|Discuss reversal and train of 4s basics.
