Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Participants will be able to articulate why trauma in adolescents is distinct from trauma experienced at other ages.
  2. Participants will be able to articulate a rationale for incorporating nonverbal interventions in treating traumatized adolescents.
  3. Participants will explain how stress mindset can mitigate the negative consequences of stress.
  4. Participants will identify one strategy to increase positive affect in teens..
