Objectives:

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1| Identify the relevant questions of moral analysis and moral reasoning in the context of DNR orders for surgical patients.
2| Determine an appropriate framework for analyzing ethical dilemmas that arise in the context of DNR orders for surgical patients.
3| Explain steps to identify the "least bad" course of action and progress toward an ethically-sound resolution via bioethics mediation.
