Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1|Identify key symptoms of depression and how these may manifest in children and adolescents
2|Name at least 3 risk factors and at least 3 protective factors for suicide in youth
3|Describe the difference between suicidal behavior and non-suicidal self-injury
4|Identify strategies to talk to youth about suicidal thoughts and behaviors
