Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the progression from SIRS to septic shock
2. Discuss appropriate treatment modalities for patients in septic shock
3. Demonstrate competency in arterial BP and CVP assessment, care and evaluation
4. Recall indications and treatment for patients receiving MTP
