Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
- Recognize current lack of evidence for treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE) with direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) in obese patients.
- Evaluate current literature for efficacy and safety of DOACs for treatment of VTE in obese patients.
- Apply recent literature to clinical practice as appropriate.
