Objectives

1. Describe bone accrual and the important determinants of bone health during adolescence.
2. Summarize the pathophysiology underlying impaired bone metabolism in adolescents with anorexia nervosa.
3. Identify the potential therapeutic strategies to optimize bone health in adolescents with anorexia nervosa.
