Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to

1.  Discuss the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on risk factors for pediatric type 2 diabetes.
2.  Discuss preventative measures for pediatric pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
3.  Summarize the clinical presentation of primary adrenal insufficiency in pediatric patients.
4.  Describe common causes of primary adrenal insufficiency in pediatric patients.
5.  Discuss the chronic treatment of adrenal insufficiency and treatment of adrenal crisis.
