Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to

1. Identify the population served and define the specific health needs of youth in correctional settings. 
2. List effective screening and treatment guidelines that can be utilized in this special population.
3. Recognize the medical and legal implications determining the utilization of health care services for youth in correctional settings.
4. Discuss opportunities for careers and advocacy in correctional health care.
