The Pediatric Morbidity and Mortality conference is a forum to review cases of harm that occur in pediatric patients at Baystate Children’s Hospital, and affiliated practice areas. The goal is to provide education to an interprofessional group of pediatric providers and staff in a peer-protected environment with an emphasis on improving communication/teamwork and addressing systems issues. This conference is valuable to attending physicians (generalists and specialists), trainees (residents and medical students), nurses, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, and advanced practitioners.
