This two hour course will provide general education on the roles and responsibilities of the Department of Children and Families. It will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of healthcare workers in reporting concerns. This program will educate attendees on the definition of a 51A report and when to file. It also includes an overview on Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and sexual abuse to educate attendees on signs and steps for addressing. This program will also review community resources available in our area to help our population for various concern.
