Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1. Explain the impact of reduced hearing on child development
2. Recall the "1-3-6" rule for hearing screening, diagnosis, and intervention in early childhood
3. Describe red flags for developmental concerns in deaf and hard of hearing children
4. Identify resources for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families in Western Massachusetts
