Point of Care Ultrasound for Perioperative Anesthesia - Gastric Ultrasound

Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Recognize FULL and EMPTY stomach via gastric ultrasound.
2|Identify different gastric contents (liquid vs. solid).
3|Differentiate between qualitative and quantitative assessment of gastric content/volume.
4|Interpret gastric ultrasound to formulate clinical decisions for anesthesia airway management that reduce aspiration risks.
