Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Describe the normal structure and functions of the neurologic system.
2|Identify and perform key components of a neurologic and trauma/orthopedic vascular examination and then accurately document findings.
3|Discuss clinical manifestations, pathophysiology, and treatment options/protocols for the neurological conditions of stroke and seizure. 
4|Identify common diagnostic tests used to evaluate neurologic status. 
5|Distinguish between the different types of cervical collars and orthotic braces used for the treatment of neurologic injury.
