Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

1| Describe the eight-phase, three-prong treatment method of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
2| Explain the use of EMDR for the perinatal period to treat birth trauma.
3| Name particular considerations taken in the use of EMDR for perinatal/postpartum loss: miscarriage and stillbirth.
