Objectives

1| Describe current lung cancer screening guidelines, including eligibility, recommended intervals, and evidence supporting screening.
2| Identify key barriers to lung cancer screening uptake and challenges in shared decision-making, particularly among diverse and high-risk populations.

3| Recognize important considerations in reporting, communicating results, and managing follow-up testing after abnormal lung cancer screening findings.
4| Apply practical strategies and best practices to improve lung cancer screening implementation and ensure timely diagnostic evaluation and treatment.

| Engage patients effectively in shared decision-making and integrate smoking cessation and follow-up processes into clinical workflows.
