Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

      1| Describe from a historical perspective the introduction of the diagnosis of DMDD into the DSM-5 diagnostic manual
2| Summarize published literature review of research studies related to epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of the disorder in the past 5 years
3| Apply clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of the disorder in children and adolescents, and reasonable information that can be used for psychoeducation of families coping with this disorder in a family member
