Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Recognize the clinical presentation, sentinel symptoms, and diagnostic/grading approach to nontraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage.
2|Explain the rationale for neuroendovascular-first aneurysm securement (coiling, stent-assisted coiling, WEB) and the evidence behind that shift in practice.
3|Describe evidence-based neurocritical care strategies used to prevent secondary brain injury after aneurysm securement, including blood pressure management, euvolemia, and nimodipine therapy.
4|Identify the bedside signs of vasospasm-related neurologic deterioration, outline an escalation pathway, and recognize key considerations for SAH survivors transitioning to outpatient follow-up.
