Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Discuss anatomy and morphology of tricuspid valve and right heart structures
  2. Describe the causes of tricuspid regurgitation
  3. Review the use of imaging to assess severity of tricuspid regurgitation
  4. Learn current clinical guideline-directed medical, and surgical options and appropriate timing of such therapies.
  5. Discuss transcatheter repair and replacement options for TR.
  6. Describe the importance of a heart team approach in management of patients with severe TR and RH failure.
