Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles of the members of the health care team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
2. Discuss management of ICDs during surgery.
3. Learn pharmacokinetics of common anesthetic drugs.
4. Discuss blood products and use during anesthesia.
5. Discuss the chemistry of anesthesia.
