Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles of the members of the health care team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
2. Discuss rationale for regional anesthesia in cardiac surgery.
3. Review Erector Spinae block and catheter.
4. Compare current practice.
5. Discuss relevance to the future of cardiac anesthesia.
6. Discuss relevance to the future of post-surgical analgesia in general and thoracic surgery.
