Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Identify the different clinical indications for VV-ECMO vs. VA ECMO.
2. Identify the indications and contraindications for the use of ECMO.
3. Discuss the role of Ethics department at our facility and how and when to call an ethics consult if the need were to arise.
