Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

2.  Compare and contrast nursing management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients.
3.  Identify modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors of stroke.
4.  Identify the pathophysiology and nursing management of headaches.
5.  Identify the pathophysiology and nursing management of neuromuscular and autoimmune disorders.
6.  Identify the pathophysiology and nursing management of degenerative disorders.
7.  Recognize conditions requiring surgical intervention.
8.  Relate the pathophysiology and nursing management of CNS infection.
9.  Describe nursing management of brain tumors.
